My goal is to always do what is best to meet and surpass the expectations of the client. However, it is important to understand that the successful completion of a project depends upon the mutual cooperation of both the client and the designer.
You agree to provide the assets and information needed to complete the project according to the deadlines mutually set with the designer.
You accept the general timeframe given for completion of the project and understand that my ministry responsibilities take precedence over this business commitment. Unexpected changes in my ministry itinerary may require me to adjust my work schedule without your prior notice. Project delays may last for 1–3 months depending on the time of year.
You agree to follow the payment schedule as defined in the “Payment” section.
Work cannot begin on the project until the Estimate has been accepted, the Project Agreement been signed, and a Security Fee of 15% has been paid.
Project Changes & Revisions
You will have opportunities to review the progress of the work and provide feedback during the design process. If you are not pleased with the direction of the project, I will work with you until you are satisfied with the initial design.
After the Project Agreement is accepted, major changes or additions to the project will be charged at a rate of $25 per hour.
If you choose to cancel the project, payment is required for all items purchased for the project and time already spent on the work.
If I attempt to contact you, and you fail to communicate for 15 days, the project will be suspended. If no communication is received for 30 days, the project will be considered abandoned. You will be billed for all items purchased for the project and time already spent on the work.
You must make a payment (partial or full) within 7 days of receiving an invoice. Full payment is due within 30 days. Failure to pay in full within 30 days results in a compounding 5% late payment fee beginning shortly after the due date. You must also be prepared to cover any taxes or charges associated with the international transfer of funds.
You must own or have permission to use all elements of text, images, or other artwork that you provide for the project.
When your final project payment has cleared, copyright will be automatically assigned as follows:
You will own all the visual elements of the completed design. I license you to use my work within the intended scope of the project. Original files will be provided upon project completion and it is your responsibility to store these files in a safe location. Brubaker Design Services may or may not keep a copy.
Accreditation & Promotion
I reserve the right to reproduce, publish, and display your project in my portfolio, advertisements, and other types of media for the purpose of my recognition as a professional creative designer. Additionally, I reserve the right to be credited with the authorship of the content.
